Quality Control and Assurance
Everything produced, fitted and tested by Isaac Ltd is done so to the highest level to ensure that the end customer receives the best quality products.
We adopt a quality assurance system, based on BS5750 Parts 1 to 6.
A general outline of the system is as follows:
- A contract number is issued on receipt of order. A job file is taken out with a separate quality control file.
- Materials are ordered, detailing the grade, type and specification with inspection requirements. Copy orders are sent to clients, quality control stores and the job file.
- On receipt of materials, these are identified against orders and the relevant test certificates.
- Having established materials are correct to order, they are then marked with the relevant contract number and stored, ready for issue to the works foreman.
- All materials and electrodes are issued from the quality control department.
- All materials and test certificates are presented to visiting surveyors.
- Stage inspection is carried out by our own inspector, in conjunction with the client's surveyor, in accordance with the relevant codes of practice.
- On completion of the contract and prior to the dispatch of goods, the data folders, containing signed certificates/documents are passed to the surveyor and client with a copy retained in the contract file for reference.
